It’s crafted from Saligna (Eucalyptus grandis), a locally sourced hardwood known for its structural integrity and rapid renewability. The surface is treated with Osmo Black Decking Oil, providing UV and water resistance while allowing the timber to breathe — reducing the risk of cracking or warping over time.
The result is a durable, outdoor-ready surface that performs as well as it looks.
With the selection of the black decking oil, it is reminiscent of Shou Sugi Ban - The Japanese technique that perserves timber by charring the exterior layer.
