It’s been an exciting journey to get to this point – After months of planning, connecting and risk taking – We’re heading to Germany to host retail pop up events, presentations and meet up with our growing European fan base.
We’re bringing the Dark Horse energy to the streets of Berlin and Hamburg, popping up for a week in each. With new products, limited editions and our Modern African approach!
The team is working like crazy, to bring it all to life and we’re going to be filling you in on this wild new adventure as it unfolds.
In planning of the trip, we wanted to connect our work to something larger – Who are we in this design and product journey? How can we be easily identified in a land of modernists?
We’re not overtly African. We’re different.
We design for function, aesthetic and personal curation – We’re modernists and have a love for the balance of clean lines and materials. Our location gives us an African grounding and with this our design approach is balanced between our local surrounds and modern background.
We’re taking our version of South African design into Europe – To share, grow and learn. We’re a young brand with bold ambitions. Isn’t that what it means to be a Dark Horse?
We’re built to take risks and push the boundaries. We’re built to explore and have stories for the journey. This marks a first for us in Pop Up retail overseas.
