The apartment style for this unit was put together by MAKE interiors and brings together a curated sense of space and touches from hotel to home. We love this direction for what modern seaside apartments can be in Cape Town – Luxurious, chic and bold. It’s a define characteristic of the Atlantic Seaboard apartment style and speaks to global design trends in Miami and L.A. – We can see this in the work of the renowned Luxury architects SAOTA. Whilst being a Cape Town based firm , their work spans the globe.
Our latest piece the Oso dining chair fits right at home, with bold lines and beautiful craftsmanship that becomes the center of the dining and entertaining experience. When designing this piece, we wanted that long stay comfort, a chair that would be bold but allow hours of stories. The name is taken form the Oso mountain range in California, the idea of sweeping views translated into a sweeping curve and being hugged by the mountains in a valley, as one would be whilst sitting in the chair. Having taken over 14 months from design to completion, it’s been a journey of design, manufacturing and execution that has resulted in our most loved piece yet.
The result is a beautiful modern apartment, with distinct style and incredible views.
